Arizona Biennial 2026 is the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block’s longstanding survey of contemporary art in Arizona. This juried exhibition—first organized in 1948 as an annual exhibit that shifted to its current two-year format in 1980—showcases artwork from some of the most innovative and imaginative artists in the state. The 2026 iteration will open to the public on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and will be accompanied by a series of public programs. For each biennial, a new juror is chosen to select the works and create a cohesive exhibition that offers a snapshot of artistic creativity in Arizona. Stay tuned for more information including the announcement of the Arizona Biennial 2026 juror and key dates.
