Bravo, Young Artists Benefit Concert!

Civic Orchestra Of Tucson
Start Date
February 1 @ 3:00 pm
End Date
February 1 @ 5:00 pm

COT will hold its annual concert benefitting the Young Artists’ Competition in the beautiful auditorium at Pima College West, Center for the Arts. This concert will be unusual in that we not only have two young artists performing with the orchestra but will also hold a live art auction at intermission as a fundraising event. Bryan Zhang, an 18-year-old pianist will perform two movements of Liszt’s piano Concerto No. 1 and 13-year-old Alexis Dyche will play the first movement of Beethoven’s 2nd piano concerto. In addition, Civic Orchestra of Tucson will perform Ancient Airs and Dances by Respighi, Academic Festival Overture by Brahms, and an excerpt from the Mother Goose Suite by Ravel. Three generous local artists have donated works for the auction: Mark Rossi, Andy Burgess and Leslie Stirm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, and available on our website and at the door.
