Autumn

Musical Instrument Museum 4725 E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ, United States

Vivaldi’s Autumn concerto depicts a merry harvest dance and the sleepy countryside. Piazzolla’s Otoño sets a melancholy mood of fall. Michael Schacter’s Five–Six–Seven–Eight takes its title from the count-in familiar to musicians on a bandstand or dancers in rehearsal. Each of the four miniatures is inspired by folk and classical dance styles from around the world.

Never miss a beat (or a pirouette)
