Fountain Hills Youth Theater Presents “Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells!” this holiday season! 

Junie B. Jones, a First-Grader, is super-excited about her school’s upcoming Holiday Sing-Along and Secret Santa gift exchange. Too bad Tattletale May keeps ruining all of Junie B.’s fun. So when Junie B. draws May’s name for Secret Santa, she comes up with the perfect plan to teach her nemesis a lesson! But will the Christmas spirit of peace and goodwill interfere before she can give you-know-who what she deserves? A hilarious and endearing tale based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park.

“Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells!”  is directed by Ross Collins and produced by Marcie Rozalsky. The cast includes Anthony Alcorn, Sarah Brisco, Ross Collins, Makayla Lopez, Zane Maata, Jay Melberg, Makena Meyer, Giselle Schmidt, Amelia Tomasello, and Adam Oberg. Suzanne Tomasello designed the costumes, Marcie Rozalsky designed the properties, Aimee Avery did the Hair and Makeup, Stage Manager Sarah Brisco did the makeup, and Birdie Flowers did the booth tech.

Fountain Hills Youth Theater will hold a special fundraiser for teachers during this production. A “Teacher Giving Tree” in the lobby will be decorated with school supply ornaments that audience members can choose from. A virtual “Teacher Giving Tree” will also be available.

“Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells will run two weekends from December 10th -19th, 2021. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM, with possible additional performances on Saturdays at 2:00 PM. All performances occur at Fountain Hills Youth Theater at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. in Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. The ticket price is $18.
