Martha Masters, Classical Guitar

MusicaNova Orchestra presents Martha Masters, an Arizona State University faculty member and president of the Guitar Foundation of America. Masters is a winner of the Guitar Foundation of America International Solo Competition, the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition in Linares, Spain, and was a finalist in the Alexandre Tansman International Competition of Musical Personalities in Lodz, Poland. She has released seven recordings (Naxos, GSP and independent releases) and has published three books with Mel Bay Publications and Alfred Music. Masters is active as a solo recitalist, as a chamber musician and as a soloist with orchestras. Recent concert seasons have included performances in concert series and at festivals in China, England, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Germany, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and throughout the United States.
