Kern Plays Rachmaninoff

The 2025Ð26 Season opens with two powerful, romantic musical statements: RachmaninoffÕs third piano concerto, rich in sweeping melodies and virtuosity, and SibeliusÕs majestic Second Symphony, exuding emotion and an immense source of pride for Finland. Piano soloist Olga Kern, the first woman in more than 30 years to win the prestigious Van Cliburn competition, makes a welcome return to Tucson.
