Jerusalem ’67

Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival
Start Date
February 18 @ 7:00 pm
End Date
February 18 @ 9:00 pm

Set against the backdrop of the Six-Day War, this gripping film follows Sarah, a young wife and mother of two living in Jerusalem, who chooses action over safety when war reaches her doorstep. With her husband called up to serve in the Jerusalem Brigade, Sarah—herself a former army medic—volunteers to drive an ambulance, risking her life to rescue and treat the wounded amidst the chaos of early bombings. As the city becomes a battleground, Sarah’s courage and determination are put to the ultimate test.

Featuring vivid, harrowing battle scenes and grounded in historical reality, the film is inspired by the true story of Esther Arditi, the only woman ever awarded the Israeli Medal of Distinguished Service.
