Bandolim master Hamilton de Holanda is one of Brazil’s most celebrated musicians—a global ambassador, virtuoso performer, and groundbreaking improviser. He began his professional career as a six-year-old mandolin prodigy on a national Brazilian TV show. Today, as a composer, improviser, bandleader, and educator, his music transcends genre, and his improvisational genius dazzles. His career is defined by his ability to blend Brazilian traditions with global sounds. He has shared the stage with musicians and improvisers such as Wynton Marsalis, Chick Corea, Chucho Valdes, Joshua Redman, and Milton Nascimento, among others. He has performed in Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Los Angeles, and in cities and countries around the world.
