Join the People’s Community Orchestra for an evening of storytelling and epic musical landscapes. The program opens with the electrifying energy of “Russian Sailor’s Dance” by Reinhold Glière, followed by the premiere of a new work, “The Tale of Jerry,” by Ryan Materna. Familiar scenes from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 by Edvard Grieg set the stage for a thrilling finale: the dramatic Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47 by Jean Sibelius, featuring soloist and concerto competition winner Adam Dvorak.
