Virtual Museum Resources Available From Pueblo Grande Museum

Pueblo Grande Museum temporarily closed its doors as part of the City of Phoenix’s initiative to stop the spread of the coronavirus (Covid- 19). Joining the hundreds of cultural organizations providing virtual content and online resources, PGM shares the online resources available through their website.

Pueblo Grande is a Contributing Institution for the Arizona Memory Project which, “provides access to the wealth of primary sources in Arizona libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions.” The Museum currently has four collections available online, including Basketry from Pueblo Grande Museum and Maricopa Pottery. Pueblo Grande is also a Google Cultural Institute partner with an online exhibit The Hohokam: The Land & the People – Ancient Artisans of the Sonoran Desert and over 60 artifacts available for viewing from the Museums’ collection.
