ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra announced auditions for their upcoming season! Founded in 2003, ProMusica Arizona brings live music to audiences in the North Phoenix area. The group consists of almost 100 multigenerational singers and instrumentalists that performed over 250 times for over 127,00 people.
Mark your calendars for chorale auditions on Monday, August 2 and Monday, August 9 from 6:00-9:00pm for all voice parts. Additionally, there is a paid position open for a Bass section leader. The ability to read music and previous choral experience are required for admission into the group. Rehearsals begin later in August, and the in-person concert season will kick off in October. Plan for approximately five minutes for each audition.
Orchestra auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 10 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Auditions for paid principal chair positions for 2nd Violin, Oboe, and Trumpet take place Tuesday, August 17 from 7:00-9:00 pm.
