ON Media Launches ONStageAZ.COM, an Arts and Culture Website

New digital resource will reunite patrons with arts and culture organizations amid Covid-19 crisis

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – ON Media, publisher of Arizona theater programs and museum guides, announced today its online multimedia arts and culture calendar, onstageaaz.com, featuring “couch concerts” and currently scheduled events throughout Arizona to help keep arts patrons connected, entertained, buying tickets and donating to arts organizations while venues are temporarily closed.

ON Media’s CEO, Mac Perlich, says, “The show will go on, must go on. The arts are essential to the human experience, bringing both hope and joy – especially in these unprecedented times. Onstageaz.com had been in the works, and we are launching earlier than planned to reunite arts patrons with the arts – virtually.”

Among the many art groups bringing their events online, FilmBar has started a virtual cinema series, Fox Tucson Theatre has announced its “Friday Nights In” streaming Facebook concert series and Southwest Shakespeare Company debuted its virtual reading series bringing levity with their Plague Players troupe.

The calendar of events and content are community sourced. ON Media is currently accepting performing arts performances and museum exhibits from all Arizona cities to post on the website.

“It’s exciting to have a central location for this information again, something that’s been missing in the Valley for a while!” said Casey Blake, director of marketing and public relations at Mesa Arts Center.
