Late last year, The Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation received a $200,000 matching grant on behalf of the the Connie Hillman Family Foundation. The grant was a welcome boost to ongoing fundraising initiatives during a time when the theatre began working toward reopening.
“Because of the leadership level support from the Connie Hillman Family Foundation, there’s never been a better time to support the Fox Tucson Theatre. In a moment marked by a triumphant return to live performances, we couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts in helping shape the future of our organization” says Fox Executive Director Bonnie Schock.
So far, the Fox has raised nearly $75,000 of total possible matching funds. Now, the theatre opens the challenge up to the public in a new campaign.
The grant ensures all support from donors is matched 2-to-1. This matching offer extends through the end of 2022, or until they exhaust all matching funds. It will take a full community effort to realize this generous fundraising opportunity.
