Fountain Hills Theater announces their series of one-night-only concerts, A Series of One Night Stands. The series features a plethora of musical talents that includes Brock Pro Entertainment artists, T.A. Burrows, Jan Sandwich and more scheduled throughout the 2021-22 season. Concerts ranging from nostalgic to contemporary will be presented throughout the season. Faces you know as well as brand-new acts will perform for one night only making for A Series of One Night Stands!

Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021 @ 7pm: Timeless – An evening of jazz classics with the smooth vocal stylings of husband and wife duo Matravius Avent and Trisha Ditsworth. The show features music of Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand. With Mark 4man accompanying on piano, and special guest Cydney Trent, patrons are in for a treat. Don’t miss these wonderful artists taking you down memory lane.
Sunday, Oct 3, 2021 @ 7:00pm Masquerade – A traditional Broadway concert that presents the most magical moments from The Great White Way. You can expect hits like Music of the Night, Don’t Rain on my Parade and Cabaret.
Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021 @ 7pm Monster Mash – This Halloween themed concert brings to life all the monstrous tunes associated with Halloween such as Monster Mash, Time Warp, Dead Man’s Party, Hungry Like a Wolf and many more.
Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021 @7pm Soulstice Sound – A smooth, hip mix of all your favorite hits with unmatched vocal chops and musicianship. This husband and wife duo bring you all the tunes to help set your soul at ease.
Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 @ 2pm Rocking Wonderland – How do Phoenicians celebrate the snowy season in the valley of the Sun? Join us for this very festive Winter Holiday themed concert. Featuring a Carols Sing Along and songs like Mary Did You Know, O Holy Night, Happy Holidays/Let Yourself Go and many more.
Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022 @ 7:00pm – Presenting T.A. Burrows In Concert For over 40 years, award-winning entertainer T.A. Burrows has used his unique vocal talents to delight audiences with the voices of legendary singers from Frank Sinatra to Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson, and many others. In this tour-de-force, the “man of a thousand voices” takes a turn in the spotlight as himself! Performing 17 of his favorite songs, T.A. lends his own dynamic style to such hits as On Broadway, Fever, Young at Heart, New York, New York and many more. Between the tunes, T.A. keeps you engaged with hilarious anecdotes reflecting his personal life and his amazing 40-plus year career as a professional entertainer.
Saturday, Feb. 5 2022 @ 2:00pm – Hooray for Hollywood, starring Jan Sandwich and pianist, Richard Palalay, salutes the movie capital of the world in this brand new show! Enjoy great movie stories and songs like: “Dancing Cheek to Cheek”, “As Time Goes By”, Almost Like Being in Love” and many, many more memorable movie tunes.
Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022 @ 7pm – Jukebox Memories – Top hits of the 50s and 60’s are highlighted in the classic sendup to the old days. Includes songs like: Where the Boys Are, Hound Dog, Stupid Cupid and more.
Sunday, Mar. 27, 2022 @ 7pm – Brockway Broadway like you’ve never heard it before. This original concept fuses your favorite Broadway standards with an innovative rock edge and powerhouse voices. Includes: Defying Gravity, Fame and Time Warp.
Saturday, Apr. 16 @ 2pm – Swing Street Café – In this unique hour-long show, award-winning entertainer T.A. Burrows takes you uptown to his favorite nightspot. It’s a lively little after-hours place located on the corner of Swing Street and Memory Lane, where T.A. will serve up 20 swingin’ jazz standards from the Great American Songbook. You’ll delight to his sophisticated stylings of such popular hits as Night and Day, Bye Bye Blackbird, Embraceable You, Stormy Weather, and many others. And between “courses,” T.A. will keep you amused with humorous anecdotes.
Sunday, May 15, 2022 @ 7pm – GRL PWR – Unstoppable women with fierce voices and sharp dancing. This empowering, high energy concert revisits the greatest female groups and includes songs like Wannabe, Lady Marmalade and I’m Every Woman.
A Series of One Night Stands will play Aug. 29, 2021 – June 5, 2022. Tickets can be purchased for $35.00 for Adults and $18.00 for Youth 17 and under.
