‘Songs From Liquid Days’

ASU Music Theatre and Opera Student Lab Production presents “Songs From Liquid Days” is a collection of songs by composer Philip Glass with lyrics by Paul Simon, Suzanne Vega, David Byrne and Laurie Anderson. Philip Glass describes the project as a collaboration that “brought together quite an astonishing assortment of people…for me, their commonality is that they are an uncommonly talented group of people — and about as diverse in personal style and practical approach to music-making as you’re ever likely to find working together.”

Music by Philip Glass and Jeremy Marchant (2000); libretto by Paul Simon, Suzanne Vega, David Byrne and Laurie Anderson; music direction by Mario Yñiguez; associate music direction by Andrew Chen.
