Arizona Opera’s Marlu Allan & Scott Stallard Costume Shop Masterclass: Intro to Beadwork

Join the Marlu Allan & Scott Stallard Costume Shop this season as they guide us through and introductory masterclass to beadwork. In this three-hour class, Ailta Lopez (Arizona Opera’s Wig & Makeup Supervisor) will introduce various beading and thread techniques, including beading onto a backing, loop earrings and embellishing embroidery with beads.

Each masterclass purchased helps train an Arizona Opera Production Apprentice, helping them learn the skills and gain the experience necessary to begin their careers with confidence.
