The Paul Thorn Band

Musical Instrument Museum
Start Date
July 20 @ 5:00 pm
End Date
July 20 @ 6:30 pm

This music not only revives weary spirits but also offers hope of a new, more glorious world where the devil—whether in the guise of simple evil or in the form of various kinds of systemic social oppression—can no longer capture one’s soul.

—No Depression

Throughout his innovative career, singer-songwriter Paul Thorn has impressed crowds with his muscular brand of bluesy, rocking, and thoroughly Southern American roots music. Thorn’s most recent release, 2021’s Never Too Late to Call, features all original material—some songs were written by Thorn, with others co-written with his friend and longtime manager, Billy Maddox. The intensely personal album showcases Thorn’s razor-sharp wit and offers gently humorous commentary on life’s existential questions, yet there is a peace about his life’s journey.
