Sir Anthony Hopkins and Helena Bonham Carter star in the true story of Sir Nicholas Winton, a humble British stockbroker who saved hundreds of Jewish children during the Holocaust. During a 1938 visit to Prague with some friends, Winton saw the plight of Jewish families, knew they were racing against time, and worked relentlessly to transport children to safety in England. He didn’t speak of it for nearly 50 years, until his wife uncovered a scrapbook about the children he saved in the attic and gave it to a Holocaust researcher who knew his heroism must be revealed to the world.
