Looking for a great way to get in a holiday mood? On Saturday, December 7, at 3:00 pm, Civic Orchestra of Tucson (COT) will present a ticketed concert, sponsored by Green Valley Recreation. The concert , held at Green Valley Rec West Center, will feature Hungarian Dances by Brahms, Poet and Peasant Overture by von Suppé, Waltz from Masquerade by Khachaturian, and a number of holiday favorites. In addition, Steve Bryan, COT’s principal cellist, will play the first movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 4. There will also be a “Meet the Soloist” at 2:15 prior to the concert.
